CASL Consent - why it’s vital
This is where you specify whether you have a person's permission to send them emails. My Book is designed around Canadian Anti-Spam Law (CASL) regulations, and has elements in place to ensure compliance.
You have different options here:
1- Select "express consent" when you have specific permission to send them emails
2- Choose "implied consent" if you have done business with them in the last six months
3- If your contact has "no consent" specified, the system will not allow you to send them emails through My Book or through a drip campaign.
Remember, if you don't have CASL consent checked off, the system will prevent you from sending emails to that contact – for your protection. More on drip campaigns here.
