Adding a Custom Banner
You can customize your website by adding a fix Custom Banner (background image below) or a slideshow. This is only available to Elite subcriptions.
1. From your ClientClick dashboard click on 'Edit My Website'
2. On the page menu, make sure that the "Home" tab is selected (1)
3. Select the "Website Header" block (2).
4. Click on the 'Custom Banner Slideshow' tab
- Show a custom banner image: if not checked, your website will display the template's default banner slideshow
- Crop: adjusts the picture's dimension to best fit the selected template (recommended)
5. Click on 'Add an image' to open your media manager
- Banner images: displays all the files available for header banners
- Stock Images: a folder for all available stock images
- Royal LePage Images: images featuring Royal LePage branding
Your personal images will be found under "My Photos"
6. To upload your own photos to use as a banner:
1. Click on "My Photos" on the left column to go to your photo uploads.
2. Click on "Upload a file" or drag and drop an image from your file browser into the "upload" area.
3. Find in the image you uploaded in your media library. Click to open and crop your image. By default, all of the image is selected.
Click and hold the blue lines at the edge to resize the cropping area.
Additional editing tools are available on the left side.
7. Click "insert" to add the Banner to your Custom Banner.
8. Your image will now appear in the Website Header block. Click "Add an Image" to add another banner image.
Repeat these to add up to 5 images to create a slideshow banner.
9. To reorder your banners, click and hold on the 'Drag' button
10. To edit the transition effects and timing, go to 'Slideshow Options'
The "slideshow options" only appear if you've selected more than one image to create a slideshow.
11. Then click 'Done' to close the Website Header window.
12. Make sure to 'Save' your changes in the 'Builder Actions' palette and go to step '4: Publish'
Feel free to Preview your changes before saving and publishing
