Hide a Page on my Website

The Chapter bar on your website will be the primary navigation menu for your visitors.   There are some instances where you may not want a page to appear in the menu, but still accessible for people who have a direct link.  

1. From your ClientClick dashboard click on 'Edit My Website'

2. Select your page that you would like hidden

3. On your page, under "Page Title" unselect "Include in Menu"  

The name you are setting for the Chapter/Page you have created will also set the URL.

  1. The convention for your page name is as follows:   https://example.com /[chapter-name]/[page-name].  As per the example, the published URL for this page will be https://example.com/special/limited-offer
  2. If you have only one page in your chapter your URL will just contain the Chapter's name. Example:  https://example.com /[chapter-name]/

* do not use special characters in your page names. Spaces will be replaced with hyphens.  URLs are not case sensitive

4. Make sure to Save your changes and click "Publish" to publish your website on the next page.

Feel free to Preview your changes before saving and publishing

5. Click Publish to make your changes live

6. The page will be active on your website to whoever has its URL but is hidden from the menu
